Philip Bill Okaka is a seasoned development communicator with nine years of both field and policy engagement, having worked for USAID, DFID, IOM, CDC, and Rockefeller-funded projects, reaching out to Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Youth in-and-out of School, Teenage Girls, Women, and the Elderly with health promotion packages – including participatory development and evaluation of community-based folk media, radio program and public service announcement production, conceptualization of behavior change print-based materials, mHealth and social marketing strategies and products. Bill has a base training in Communications and Media Technology (BA), and Development Studies (MA).
