Elizabeth Romanoff Silva, MPA, joined the ASSIST team in October 2013 as an Improvement Specialist for Gender and Knowledge Management. Elizabeth is responsible for providing technical assistance to integrate gender into all components of the ASSIST program cycle including work planning, tracking gender indicators, providing assistance in research and analysis of sex-disaggregated data, and collecting and documenting successes, learnings and best practices in gender integration. Elizabeth develops gender-related briefs, tools for trainings and other materials to support the sustainability and spread of effective gender integration practices. Elizabeth also provides knowledge management support to the MNCH and Family Planning teams and programs in Nicaragua, Ukraine, Botswana and Georgia. Elizabeth holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and she is a Fulbright Scholar. Prior to joining ASSIST, Elizabeth worked in gender and knowledge management at Save the Children.
