Kim has over 13 years of experience designing and implementing large scale improvement initiatives in low and middle income countries. She is currently working with the Knowledge Management team of USAID ASSIST to facilitate learning exchange and capacity development on implementing improvement. From 2010 – 2013, Kim was the lead improvement advisor for the Bill & Melinda Gates funded Maternal and Newborn Health in Ethiopia Partnership (MaNHEP) on which URC was a sub-grantee to Emory University. Previously, she served as the Deputy Chief of Party for URC offices in Russia and Uganda in addition to providing short term technical assistance to other low- and middle-income countries. She is fluent in Russian. Kim joined URC in 2000 and has worked on the USAID Quality Assurance Project II, USAID Quality Assurance Project III, and USAID Health Care Improvement Project.
