Mary is a Nutritionist (BSc. HND) by profession with a Master’s degree in Public health (MPH). She has been working with University Research Co.,LLC since August 2009. She worked with NuLife- Food and Nutrition Interventions (2009- 2011) as a Breastfeeding Counsellor under the Baby Friendly Health Facility Initiative (BFHI), Health Care Improvement Project (2011-2012) as a Maternal and Newborn Child Health (MNCH) consultant and now with USAID ASSIST project (2012 to date) as a Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA). Before URC, Mary was working as a nutritionist at International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN-Uganda), a worldwide network of organisations working to reduce infant and child mortality through the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding and optimal infant feeding practices.
