Morgan Mickle is a Gender Specialist, with ASSIST partner WI-HER, LLC providing gender integration technical and programmatic support to Zika prevention and response efforts in Jamaica and the Eastern and Southern Caribbean. Morgan has over nine years of experience in program analysis, communications and advocacy, multilateral coordination, research, education, and gender integration and empowerment supporting national and international NGOs, community organizations, and U.S. government agencies such as USAID and Department of State. In addition to the Caribbean region, her field expertise includes Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Spain. Morgan is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Mozambique where she supported community health efforts focused on malaria, HIV, and reproductive health. Morgan holds a Master's Degree from George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs, and a Bachelor's Degree from The College of William and Mary. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
