Tisa Barrios Wilson

WI-HER/Gender Specialist

Tisa Barrios Wilson is a Program Associate at WI-HER LLC and is responsible for gender integration in Zika emergency response in Latin America under USAID’s Applying Science to Strengthen and Improve Systems (ASSIST) Project. Prior to WI-HER, Tisa was a researcher at the Center for the Developing Adolescent, a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay, and a researcher at the Office of HIV and AIDS at USAID. She has a Master’s in Public Health, specializing in Maternal and Child Health, from UC Berkeley and Bachelors’ Degrees in International Development Studies and Anthropology from UCLA.
