HSR Satellite Session: Global Learning Laboratory for Quality Universal Health Coverage

Monday, November 14
15:00-17:00
Vancouver Convention Center – Meeting Room 1

This satellite session brought policymakers, researchers, donors, and implementers together for a stimulating conversation to deepen our understanding of how quality affects Universal Health Coverage.  Questions addressed through a knowledge cafe included:

  • How can quality be driven by national policy & strategy?
  • How do quality interventions advance country progress towards effective coverage?
  • How will a focus on quality UHC improve national and global health security?
  • What types of research will provide the evidence needed to drive quality for UHC?

A report on the Global Learning Laboratory for Quality UHC satellite session is available on the WHO website.

The WHO Global Learning Laboratory for Quality Universal Health Coverage connects people and experts in a shared dialogue and understanding of what works and what doesn’t work to improve quality UHC.  Want to learn more? Write us at GLL4QUHC@who.int or register here.
