Institutionalizing Community Health Conference
The Institutionalizing Community Health Conference (ICHC) will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from March 27 – 30, 2017. The conference will bring together some of the world’s leading health experts to bring attention to progress and challenges in community health and community health worker programs. The conference is being hosted by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and USAID's flagship Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP). The USAID ASSIST is co-sponsoring this event, alongside the Advancing Partners & Communities, Aspen Management Partnership for Health, CARE, CORE Group, The Global Fund, Jhpiego, the Maternal Health Task Force, The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health, Philips, Save the Children, the SPRING Project, and World Vision.
