New Evidence on Results-Based Funding for Global Health: Lessons Learned from the Salud Mesoamerica Initiative
The Center for Global Development, in collaboration with the Salud Mesoamerica Initiative (SMI), hosted a two-day conference (Feb 28 - Mar 1, 2018) that brought together key actors in the global health and development communities to discuss results-based financing and its implications for the global community; highlighting lessons learned from the Salud Mesoamerica Initiative (SMI), a large-scale results-based funding program.
ASSIST Director Rashad Massoud participated in a panel on "Organizational Inertia - Improving Health System Performance" (Panel 7) to provide a global perspective on improving health care systems; sharing experience and insights from ASSIST's work.
