Webinar- Improving the Quality of Essential Newborn Care in Myanmar: The journey from one hospital to many.

This webinar is part of series of webinars to support maternal, newborn and child health quality improvement efforts in the WHO South East Asia region. The focus is on sharing how various countries and facility teams are starting their quality improvement journey. These webinars primarily aim to share the stories of how healthcare facilities, teams and countries started doing quality improvement. The speaker for this session is Professor Thein Thein Hnin, Neonatologist, Women’s and Children’s Hospital Taunggyi, Southern Shan State, Myanmar. Professor Thein Thien Hnin will be sharing her team's quality improvement journey to improve essential newborn care. Beginning with the details of their first quality improvement project to improve newborn care in their facility to how they went on to supporting three other hospitals in the region to improve.

Front-line health care workers are strongly encouraged to attend - doctors, nurses, allied health workers, midwives, students etc. Participants from the following countries are especially encouraged to join: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Srilanka, Thailand and Timor Leste.
