VMMC Continuous Quality Improvement Results

This webinar on February 1, 2017 provided an update on how continuous quality improvement (CQI) is making an impact on voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) service quality in eight Southern and East African countries. The webinar, hosted by the USAID Applying Science to Strengthen and Improve Systems (ASSIST) Project, featured speakers from the USAID Office of HIV/AIDS, USAID ASSIST, AIDSFree, and the Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3).  Jackie Sallet, Director of AIDSFree at JSI, moderated the webinar.

Speakers shares cross-country analysis of VMMC site utilization/site capacity; results from a new study on mitigating the tetanus risk in Uganda; integrating quality improvement in early infant male circumcision in Tanzania; improvement of client counseling and in-service communication in Mozambique; and the latest data on how CQI support is hleping sites in each country to improve performance on VMMC quality standards.
