The Improving Quality (IQ) Game: a mobile app for learning improvement

Yesterday, 50 pregnant women came to your health care clinic but only seven received good quality care!  The health workers in the clinic are overworked and don’t have all the equipment they need.  Your job is to fix the problem so that all women at the clinic get good care.  You can’t hire new staff and have no money for more equipment. Can you figure out how to make sure that all women get the care they deserve?

“The IQ Game: Improving Quality” is a free mobile application developed by ASSIST to help users develop an intuition for the impact that process changes can have on outcomes. The game is based on the experience of a real clinic in India and is aimed at frontline workers who are learning about quality improvement. It is designed for individual use as well as for facilitators to use when training new teams.

Available for iOS and Android devices.
